Screen Capture

by Answers 2000 Limited

The Print Screen key can be used to capture the contents of the entire screen or the current window to Clipboard. After you've done that you can then paste the captured screen into a word processor document, photo editor, etc.
  • Press Print Screen to capture the entire screen. Then switch to your word processor (example: Microsoft Word) and select Paste (in most programs Ctrl+V will do a paste).
  • Hold down Alt then press Print Screen to capture just the current window. Then switch to your word processor (example: Microsoft Word) and select Paste (in most programs Ctrl+V will do a paste).
